Captain Jim Mulligan joined the U.S. Navy on February 9, 1944 and received his wings in August of 1947. He served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Jim served on twelve different carriers, accumulated over 5000 flight hours and made 650 carrier landings – over 150 at night – during his 31-year military career. But that was the fun part.Captain Jim is a Florida native born, raised and educated in the state. He has a wealth of knowledge on the wildlife, plant life and history of the Everglades.
