I've noticed some of my clips are greyed out in the timeline I created, but still seem to active and playing (see photo -- Video 5 track on timeline), while other clips are highlighted. When I clip on my greyed out clip on the timeline, I'm unable to drag it to shorten the length and I don't have as many options ...Head to the color page, open the gallery, right-click on the viewer, and select grab still. The still will now appear in the gallery. Right-click on the still and select export. You can now save the still under a variety of different formats. Sometimes, I can force conform the clip from the Media Pool, and that will take care of the situation, sometimes when I try to do that, the clip on the timeline turns in to a still frame which is very odd. Sep 1, 2023 · Resolve won't make the Dual Screen menus active unless it thinks there are really 2 screens, and it only does that check when the app is launched. If you have launched Resolve after you have the iMac acting as a second screen, and the Dual Screen menus are grayed out, then apparently Resolve does not think that's an actual second screen. It seems that if you had two nodes connected via a layer mixer, then deleted the layer mixer and plugged one of the nodes directly into the Main Output, Davinci Resolve will glitch and the nodes will turn gray (and any adjustments to the nodes will have no effect).
