What's the difference between a Daedra and an Aedra? The Aedra and Daedra are both supernatural beings that exist within the Elder Scrolls universe. In the Aldmeri language, "Aedra" literally means "our ancestors," and refers to a small group of individual spirits, each with their own identity. It is a mistake and will be fixed in a future patch. Scourge being wielded by a daedra was a mistake. We were working off of the Morrowind lore, with some adjustments given the differences in magic system, and forgot it has been in Battlespire.
